Quite simply because they encourage digital multitasking, children rapidly alternate between apps, notifications and other tasks. This reduces their ability to focus on a single task over the long term, which can fragment their attention.
For these reasons, and for a better, healthier and more productive student life, we’re banning smartphones at Le Sud school.
